It's been awhile...

Well, it's been awhile since I have posted for sure.  And a lot has happened!  Jordan and I celebrated 5 years of marriage (we will come back to that), Reagan started first grade and is LOVING it, Jordan and I got confirmation that we are going to HONDURAS next summer, (Click here for more info!) and I got a new job!  Whoo-eee!  Crazy huh?

Let me just brag on Rea for a second. Throughout the semester at her school, they award 6 students in each class an award.  This student exemplifies one of their 6 core values: Responsibility, Citizenship,  Trustworthiness, Respect, Fairness and Caring.  The receive a yard sign, a certificate, and their teacher writes out reasons why that student is selected.  Rea won the first Proud Porter Panter!  She won for responsibility (and if you know her, you know why).  She was over the moon excited, and we could not be more proud!

I mentioned that J and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary a couple months back.  I know that this is a small milestone, but a milestone nonetheless!  Especially in a time where marriage seems so easily tossed away and not worth the fight.  We have accomplished a lot in our 5 years, and are excited about the next 75 :)

As part of our celebratory dinner, we created a 10 year bucket list. It was a lot of fun to do...and we had a hard time coming up with "10 for our 10" :)  Some are silly and some are ambitious, but we wanted to share them with you and encourage you do to the same, for whatever year you are on!

1. Fully employed by the FAA
2. Purchase a new to us car (with cash!)
3. Move to a larger home
4. Take the kids to the beach or on a cruise
5. Go to St. Louis during Labor Day weekend (Japanese Festival!)
6. Jamaica for our 10 year wedding anniversary
7. Pay off all student loans
8. Buy TCU season tickets
9. Get scuba certified
10. Go to a TCU BCS game

What else would you have added?  What would be on your bucket list?
